Please join us all here at CFL in praying for our Open Day this coming Saturday, that the weather will be good on the day and fair enough during the week for us to be able to complete all the necessary outdoor jobs.

Sunday 7th June:

Please pray that today will be a time of strengthening and encouragement for all the CFL staff and volunteers, as we prepare for a busy week ahead, getting ready for the Open Day next weekend.

Saturday 6th June:

Please pray today for those we would dearly love to help, whether it is in our supported homes, through the Being There team’s work, or through the daytime projects, who we cannot help as yet due to a lack of places available. Do join us in praying that God will bless us and meet all our needs, enabling to run this ministry in each area, but also enabling us to help many more people who are waiting for help.

Friday 5th June:

We do thank God that we have been able to take several new people onto the CFL daytime therapeutic projects recently. Please pray that each person will settle well, and will begin to feel truly at home and safe here on the projects. Pray for wisdom for each of the staff running the projects, as they help new people get to know others and settle down together.

Thursday 4th June:

Please pray for the CFL Trustees, who are meeting today for their AGM. Prayfor wisdom and encouragementas the trustees hear reports and consider issues. Please also pray for Abi, our art project leader, as she continues to recover from pneumonia.

Wednesday 3rd June:

Pray for our Being There team, and for wisdom and patience in helping very vulnerable people cope with the long wait for safe housing, or supporting them in dealing with issues around benefit claims and problems which are not of their own making. Or those who are so vulnerable to self harm, or to harm from others. Please pray for those who really enjoyed the recent holiday away with the Being There team, but who are now on their own again in their flats or hostels, finding life very lonely.

Tuesday 2nd June:

Pray for the Bible Study taking place at 4:30pm today, for any of the beneficiaries attending the Farm-based projects. Pray for wisdom in how to explain the gospel very simply and clearly, to help young Christians to grow, to also help those who have been Christians some time, and those who are just beginning to ask questions.

Monday 1st June:

Please pray today for Arme, who has started work supporting CFL with all its IT issues and development, providing crucial back up for Tim, our Exec Director. Arme will be helping staff with issues around computers, phones, the server, IT training and a myriad other issues, which all enable the work of CFL to run smoothly. Do pray for Arme as he settles in. Please also pray for the whole team at the staff meeting tonight, that this will be an encouraging time.
