Every year, Caring For Life runs an Open Day and flings open its farm gates to enable supporters and members of the public to come along and learn more about the charity’s work. Covid-19 means that we cannot open the farm in reality.. but in 2020 we are offering a Virtual Open Day!
For everyone who can access our website, there will be opportunities to ride a horse.. see the animals.. tour the conservation areas… and loads more! But behind the scenes, there is a vast amount of preparation going on in Design and Media, as Matt films and processes the footage, ready for it all to be uploaded onto our website for Saturday 20th June.
Hopefully we will receive more Open Day visitors than ever before, as the virtual visit will remain on our website for people to enjoy way beyond 20th June. We also hope visitors will consider making a donation towards our £20k 4 Open Day campaign, our effort to raise funds to replace the income we would normally earn at this event.
We’re busy getting ready and we do hope that the virtual experience will be a real encouragement to many people who have been unable to leave their homes for some time, and who may therefore really enjoy a visit to Crag House Farm, the home of Caring For Life.
