During lockdown (seems a lifetime ago now), Esther, our co-founder wrote a whole series of accessible Bible study notes for our beneficiaries which were a real encouragement and brought many of our folks on in their faith and understanding. These notes were a real lifesaver to many who were isolated over such an uncertain time.
Well now, there has been a real buzz around the farm this last couple of weeks as our folks have been waiting for a special Advent study that Esther has written called ‘Look who’s coming’ that takes the readers on a journey from the 1st Dec to 1st Jan, starting at the very beginning, through to the birth of our Saviour, Christ Jesus with so much to learn about how His coming to earth.
But it’s not just notes! There’s a plan of something to do each day from listening to music, learning a verse, to making something with the provided craft packs. There’s even an Easter Garden to make at the end and an Advent calendar with a chocolate treat each day.
The craft packs were lovingly put together by a number of staff and helpers. 100 of these were produced in our Art room by Abi,
with much assistance from her team of
enthusiastic folks on the project. When all items were ready, Tirzah, our receptionist, filled the meeting room with bags and made up the packs ready for distribution.
They have all now been collected at the farm by very keen individuals and others delivered to folks via Rachel, our driver, and our ‘Being There’ team.
Please do pray for each precious recipient of these packs; for those who already know Jesus as their Saviour, that their faith would increase, and for those who are still seeking that they will hear the Gospel, draw close to Jesus and open their hearts to His saving grace.
